Officers' Training Camp 2009
Hi once again,
here is the information you would need for this year's Officers' Training Camp.
- There will be 4 groups for this camp.
- Each group will be in charge of planning three 1-hour activities for the camp itself based on the theme of 《当你孤单你会想起谁?》
-- 1 神修 program; 1 康乐 program; 1 实习 program
- 区团职员must be informed of all meeting dates of each group so that we can sit-in during your meetings where necessary to provide you with guidance.
- Deadlines for program reports are as follows:
- 24 January 2009: 1st draft of all reports out.
(This means the main idea and concept ought to be planned already... the skeleton of the program)
- 8 February 2009: All 3 programs to have full reports out.
(All details should be in the reports, ready for vetting)
- 21 February 2009: Final report for all 3 programs must be out.
( The reports ought to be ready for execution, and is what will be carried out during the camp itself.)
- The programs will be compiled and rearranged by the 区团职员to fit a timetable. Hence, the camp would indirectly be conducted by yourselves through your own programs, allowing you to learn from each other's strengths and weaknesses.
- All groups must produce an Item List for all Logistics Items required for each program. Each group will then send one representative to purchase the items required for the camp with the 区团职员。
- Groupings for the camp are as follows. Your group leader (shown in bold) would be given the contact list to contact each of you, as well as the program report template for you to fill in.

Hi all,
the lag in information ought not to be forgiven, but currently, there's too many things going on that has caused all your officers to neglect this blog. Much as Pet would love to post the pics of JXY (which is a massive amount btw!) and those of Christmas party, but she's weighed down by many other commitments. Should you need the photos, please do inform any of us, and we will try to get them to you asap.

Important Info for Activities Oct - Dec 2008
Hi all. sorry for the lag in updating information. Those of you who are aware of why this is so, I guess you can forgive me right? =)
Anywayz, we do hope that many of you who attended the Curia Retreat gained something despite the short programme, be it new songs, or even a piritual gain.....
It was heartening to see the rise in attendance at Curia yesterday, and we sure hope to see it continue in the months to come.

Applicants for JXY YGZ 2008
Dear All, we have taken much time to go through all of the application forms for this year's YGZ. It is very heartening to see that so many of you want to take on this challenge. We very much wish that we could take all of you under our wings, yet we want to ensure that those who are taking on this role would be able to gain the most from every single one of the experienced YGZ, and to maximise your learning experience. As such, it pained us to have to reject quite a large number of applicants. Those who have applied, please check your email to see if you have been shortlisted. If you have, congratulations. Please turn up for the interview punctually as latecoming is not tolerated.If you have not, please do not be disappointed. Take this as an experience, and watch and learn from this year's camp. There is no stopping you from trying again next year. The road ahead of you is still long, and many of your current experienced YGZ did not begin their journey until they were past 18. So take this in your stride. There will be far more chances for you. Though you may not have gotten this role, yet, we have discussed how best to maximise your talent through our other upcoming activities so that you can gain valuable experience. All this will be told to you at a later date.We hope that all of you understand why we put this year's YGZ to the test. It is to thoroughly ensure that all of you are given fair chance, as well as to ensure that this year's YGZ will be able to face up to the challenge put ahead of them. This year's JXY will be very much different from any other thus far, and we will be working with a very small number of YGZ. It will be far more challenging and more tiring for both YGZ and campers alike, whether physically, mentally or spiritually. Information with regard to the upcoming activities will be updated on this blog as regularly as possible, so continue checking for updates. The retreat to be held on August 3rd will be a very important 'pre-activity' to this year's JXY, so we hope that all of you can turn up, in order to prepare yourselves spiritually for the camp. All officers, please remember that the bi-annual evaluation meeting will be held after July's Curia, so please have your evaluation within your Presidiums before then, and turn up for Curia. Da Xing Kang Le 2008

Our Games Day is over. Need the photos from the other groups to post them up.
It seems everyone had a great day, and there were a couple of new faces. Thanks to Simon who brought them, sure hope that they had fun too.
Good to see Lesley again, sure hope you can join us for more activities!
Our next upcoming activity is on 20 July, our Curia Feast Day @ Risen Christ Church, 3-5pm.
